I got it from LRSeries. Total of £57.26 incl vat & del.

Two hole slider - DA2118

http://www.lrseries.com/shop/product/listi...amp;page=1

Pin - DA2196

http://www.lrseries.com/shop/product/listi...amp;page=1

R Clip - DA2198

http://www.lrseries.com/shop/product/listi...amp;page=1

Both the pin and R clip arrived as Britpart items despite being shown on their website as Dixon Bate brand Shocked Sad I shall phone them tomorrow. I'd also like to get a couple of DA2123A retaining cables for the clips..

The alternative is to drill & tap 2 holes (as shown in the photo below) in your slider and insert a grub screw that presses on the towing ladder behind. Or perhaps put a blob of weld on the back of your slider to stop the rocking?

Your welcome. Ive edited my post above.

There is still very slight movement in the slider when rocking it by hand, but it is drastically reduced compared to the sigle pin. I havent towed on it yet.

Not sure if theres room on the slider but another alternative would be to just drill the extra two pin holes yourself if you have the tools (i don't), and just buy an additional pin & R clip. I prefer the two pin approach as it adds strength to the tow bar attachment.

I've got it's baby brother, the 2800.

We are walking a lot of the SW coast path and the 2800 is excellent when the route is blocked/shut and you have to find an alternative.

We used it in the 90 last time out on the plain and it worked perfectly and is very easy to load/record routes on.

Most BP towing products are Dixon Bate. People seem to think that as it is branded BP it's crap this is not the case. A lot of their products are oem part in a BP branded box.

I hope so in this case. For anything essential such as towing I wouldnt intentionally purchase pattern parts

I see that as usual the idiot car drivers are following far too close on eash other's tails. I bet you had a VW or Audi about three metres behind you as well!
