Are the tow bar electrics smashed? The wires may be shorting against each other.

Tow bar electrics all fine as they are mounted up near the rear cross member. It was the bottom of the adjustable tow pack that hit the floor.

Just been out to have another look. Still did not work. So I turned on the ignition on and pressed the buttons on the remote. Turned the ignition off, closed the door, then pressed the key fob and it is now working. No idea what has caused it or how it's fixed itself

Don't thnk it is anything to worry about.
I had this happen to me a few years ago, albeit in a Diso on a heavily corrugated road. i was driving too fast and tripped the inertia switch. Soft reset is switching off and on again after a set period of time. |
