18" and 285 fit on the normal back door mounts, can't see why you'd need a special wheel carrier?

Cheers, the swing arm has an attachment for the hi lift jack. Prefer it there.

How did you mount the rear seats? Does the hardtop have flat wheel arch tops opposed to the stepped arch tops in the station wagon?

We just modified the brackets to bring the height down. The seats are approx 20mm higher than factory fitted but for the kids and most people they have plenty of room.
