switch it off, lock it, wait 5 mins and open up and start again ... amazing how often that fixes issues
otherwise, have a look at the Ultragauge (LorryMan100/Brian) did a great write up, it's a OBDC2 reader and will also allow you to reset them and all for about ฃ60 |

If the fault has gone, doesn't the light go out after 3 engine cycles (e.g. EGR)?
Or am I raving? I turn mine off with ScangaugeII. Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

Claire - For the price of both ways recorded insured postage you'd be welcome to borrow my Scanner tool. You can at least diagnose the fault and clear it. (Of which it may stay off at best or at worst come back on but you will at least know the issue & DTC) A garage will charge you around ฃ45 to do it.

Why is your hand so shiny?
Love the colour (the scanner, not your hand...) Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |
