I so want a Fire 90. LR for not bringing the Fire & Ice to the UK.
While outside appearance is relatively easy to copy, what inside mods, as aftermarket items would need to be bought? What are the red & black paint names & codes for the Fire? Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Nice. Seats look lke they have suede middles & orange stitching, but otherwise XS. Middle console is orange. Apart from that & SUX llghts & grill, it looks fairly standard hardware. Wheels & side bars I'll take or leave.
A DIY once respraying is done, should not be too difficult. I might re-paint my Series 2 in similar theme on the outside. colour choice is alway going to be personal but the good thing today is you can play around with colour by adding vinyl to panels
look forward to seeing Pic's of the new Landy in march. regards David |

Please bear in mind that Orkney Grey and Baltic Blue are now deleted and can no longer be ordered from the factory (albeit, there may be some Defenders left in the dealer network unsold)
The replacement colours are Loire Blue and Corris Grey. Loire Blue is slightly darker than Baltic Blue - about halfway between Baltic and Buckingham Blue. Corris Grey is once again slightly darker than Orkney Grey, and maybe a shade darker than Stornoway Grey too. If you remember the old Freelander 2 colour - Lago Grey, it's similar to that. Just seen colour swatches of both for the first time. JH Currently....... all gone...... pending delivery of a mid life crisis....... Previously..... Quite a few! I really am a sucker for them! |
