Hi, i used a front fog switch, http://britishparts.co.uk/products/6034-sw...000540LNFG
I had it somewhere else alot cheaper, it fits in the centre dash top left, looks like it came out of the factory.
Other option is http://www.mudstuff.co.uk/Td5_Fascia_Plate.shtml I've also fitted this with the 6 carling switches, looks neat enough.

The front fog switch has increased from £10 to £50 over the last couple of years.
I needed two switches for sopt and fog lights and have installed two Carling switches where the electric window switches go on the Td5 dash - do electric windows on my basic Td5
I used the on-off-on switch so when up they come on with main beam, when switched down they come on independently
They only cost about £9 each

When I got my 2002 Td5 it had a few extra holes in the centre console, the police who had it before had been a bit quick off the mark at plonking switches wherever Rolling Eyes They had put switches in on the flat bit at the front below the radio between the cigarette lighter and the headlamp levelling switch. I put an extra lighter socket(12v permanent with the original 12v ignition switched next to it), 2 rectangular blanks from off a Discovery electric window console, went into 2 empty holes which I then cut 2 smaller rocker switches into to control my stewarding lights and an overide on the heated front screen. Another hole is filled with a switch for heated mirrors. Quite busy but fairly tidy. On the front of my cubby box I made a plate to carry a pair of toggle switches to control my battery monitor and my battery charging relay.

With ingenuity you can keep the dash tidy and also functional but I did manage to buy my LR front screen and 2nd front lights switches for a reasonable price last year before they became silly money.

Another place to put switches/controls is on the fuse board panel, my Eberspacher controls are on there.

Thought so, i'm too tight to pay that much for a switch. Shocked

Just wish i'd bought some more now. Very Happy

Not sure, it's the one from the RHS of a pre 2001 Dash. Used to have Fogs and Hazzards in it. Old Lucas style switches like you used to get in Mini and MGBs

You'd b better putting it on the right hand side.
Might fit in the space under the radio? or th switches might, bit fiddly..

Yeah that what I assume it was for but wondered if it would fit under radio as you can buy that and 3 switches for the same money as a carling switch holder! Just a thought? Make tracks and get moving!!
