Takes balls, but this works: Cut the arm on the shaft 95% of the way through with a cutting disc in the grinder. Then when you put the puller on it should flex and come off. Don't go too far through or you'll damage the splines on the steering box splines. I resorted to this helping out a friend after many attempts maxing out a 20-ton hydraulic puller. Put the cut in, tried again and it let go with one hell of a bang. DO NOT be in the way when it goes! |

As mentioned, cut it off, otherwise your just knacker the seal in the box, or the box itself. I cut mine a couple of time to get the grinder in at the correct place, and was quicker in the long run. Andy |

New 7 inch LED lightbar arrived from Ben today. When I get chance, it will become a rear worklight mounted on the roof above the rear washer jet, but I couldn't resist a 'play' this evening

Removed rear prop off the hulk and had the uj's rebuilt. put the propshaft back on the 90 tomorrow Went for a drive in the 110 to pick up more Lr bits lol Appear to have acquired another husky winch!!!! Also Ali tree sliders for the doors 220 miles on half a tank. Not bad for a td5 with 155k on the clock n a 4" lift, 295 mts, roof rack, light bar and a husky! 2008 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold) 2015 Discovery 4.5 Black pack Firenze red XS 2008 Corris Grey 110 XS USW (sold) 2011 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold) |

Hi landroverAnorak Cheers for reply and link, am just wondering between them like yours and mantec roof bars not sure which ones to go for,I'd only need 2 for my 90. Do roof bars effect mpg like a roof rack? |
