Door adjustment help
When fitting my chequer plate sills today I hit a problem on the drivers side. Both doors need to go up a couple of mm to clear the plate.

As is they only just clear the normal sill especially the rear passenger door towards the back.

Question is, which part of the hinge has adjustment in, the part bolted to the door or the part bolted to the B pillar and bulk head, and are the nuts captive?

I'm sure some of you knowledgeable chaps have done this yourselves. Question

Cheers,
Chunk

I had to do all 4 doors to fit the sill checker plate Crying or Very sad

The door side of the hinge doesn't have captive nuts and the pillar side is the adjustment slot. It's a lot easier with two people.

One other thing to note is if you have a roof rack check that the re-alignment is not going to fowl the door on any gutter clamps. 110 2.4TDCi
