Colour choice challenge
Evening guys! I've recently registered to the forum and have been lurking a fair while.

I'm about to order a 90 SW XS and I'm really struggling with colour choice. Now this is not a newbie which colour is best thread but a slightly different question!

My problem is that the dealer near me (Matford Exeter) has very few defenders on the forecourt to compare. The other models are so different I can't really imagine the colours on the defender. I know there are factory tours available but the next space is not till February and my order needs to go in sooner than that.

Has anyone got any ideas please as to where to see a number of new defenders? I'm in the midlands for a week and I'm really hoping for a visible car park/depot outside the factory etc. to have a good nose at the colours. I'm particularly interested in the Firenze and Havana choices and unfortunately google is not being my friend.

ANY sensible suggestions on where to see new defenders or a helpful contact at customer service etc would be much appreciated. Hope everyone is enjoying the new year! Very Happy many thanks.

It really is down to your own decision, the most popular colours are Grey or Black and will probably have a better after sale later on. I have always liked keswick green and i wanted one with a white roof so i opted to go on the hunt for one ( didnt take me long ) Thumbs Up go with what colour you like ill start off and show you keswick green Thumbs Up

I would personally avoid black - dreadful to keep looking good without a lot of elbow grease. Silvers and greys are a good choice on a Land Rover, even when mucky they don't look too bad. I think classic blues, greens are good too. I am very taken by the bronze metallics that are appearing at the moment.

If Exeter is local to you, Roger Young Land Rover (Plymouth) has a fair few Defenders outside their showroom (and some in it...). Maybe worth a call as Im not sure if they are all new or second hand.

They had a Firenze in their showroom when I was last in there as well...
