Ashcroft ATB Diff Oil
Have just fitted an Ashcroft ATB diff to my truck, but before I fill the axle with oil, can anyone confirm that 80W-90 is still fine for use with this diff. Ashcroft say on the website no need for special oil so i'm guessing it is but they arn't there today to check if the oil i'm planning on using, Castrol Axle EPX 80W-90 is ok?

I'm running straight EP90 in mine, because (a) it was all I had when I fitted it and (b) it's what used to be specified in the old days and the axle hasn't changed fundamentally since 1947. I've had no issues.

I recommend going with whatever you'd put in if the ATB wasn't there.
