Definately not a Husky, it's the "wheel spats" on the back that might make it an Austin A35 van.

Silver cars did exist but I guess proper metallic colours were rare. The explosion in numbers in recent years is just a fashion (like grey Defenders). Of course there were silver cars, one of our major manufacturers(now foreign) had a few..........The Silver Cloud, Silver Shadow
