Webasto/Eberspacher air outlets?
For the guys who have fitted the hot air versions of these heaters.

Where is the most common place to feed the air outlets to?
Has anyone tried plumbing them into the original system vents?

I have a TD5 110 utility (van) with a full rear bulk head and just thinking of options for installing. Not to happy with scraping ice off the inside of my windows!!

Cheers,
Mark

I moved my ECU and fitted mine under the drivers seat piping the air into the 2nd row.

However I do know others who have brought the Nakatanenga heater box and installed it under their cubby box however they don't seem to be selling them any more.

My D3 is under the 2nd row bench seat, it has the standard end cap that faces forwards with a 2" outlet towards the back of the cubby box and a 1" backwards.

After 10 minutes car is steaming and all ice is gone, thermostat allows for timed starts, or I just nip out before I have breakfast and trip it on.

The instructions say to not plumb the webasto into the existing system as its a lot hotter than the 'hot' air from the Land Rover heater. I guess it could melt some of the original system. I'm just about to finish fitting my Webasto and will have the air venting through the bulkhead. My previous one in my old series was under the centre cubby and vented at the back of the cubby facing towards the roof, the heat produced would melt the ice after about 10mins. I just put it on about 10/15mins before leaving.
