Has anyone had their 2.2 remapped yet, by IRB or anyone else. If so any good? A review of the remap would be great.

It would seem by the lack of feed back regarding the 2.2 remap that no one as had it done, or maybe its harder to do than initialy thought. Never mind my 2.2 is fine as it is, but a bit more power is always nice.

For the amount of money - 600 quid, isnt the cost for an extra 12bhp rather steep? I think Id want another 20-30bhp for that money.

More to do with the fact that Ian is a busy man who has a full time job. Add to that not wanting to rush a product to market when it is ready and it might take more than a few weeks to be ready to market.

My experience is that Ian takes great pride in doing things right. If that takes more time than others then I'm happy to wait for that kind of service.

Hey, it's not like anyone else has done it yet!

OBD programming is the hardest part to crack and finalise for the public domain but as seen from the following CAN bus trace we have been working on this for a year behind the scenes providing information to many tool providers to develope the protocal for OBD. Below shows the start of an OBD programming session I made this time last year when I first got my first 2.2 for developement, this one has now gone and we are on our 2nd car that is now the currently advertised converted 3.2TDCI. Shortly it will be time for a 3rd Confused

Interesting, glad to see there is progress.

Just a tip, create a user on your PC and give it admin rights rather than using the Administrator username Wink it makes it very easy for someone to deliver attacks on your computer.
