X-Tech Sound Proofing
Sound Prooofed the floor,

No wonder they leak no seals on tie downs

Do seem to have spayde some sort of protection under wings on the 2.2

Dynamat in, expensive though this cost 0ver 100 quid

Fitted sound proffing that came with the Mud Panels

Fitted side panels would be best to do this first due to the amount of swarf generated.

Mask off round the tub seal and used gutter sealant

Next is wood floor and T Chest. Original Member Pie n Pea Club.

Love this! Will be analysing those pics closely over the weekend!

Did you use dynamat on the sides behind the panels mud soundproofing also?

Loads of dynamat under my desk at work at the moment haha ===================================

Looks like what I did in mine over the spring and summer.

In hindsight the MUD panels could do with a double thickness of foam in the side panel recesses, as once fitted there is a little give in them. 2016 D4 HSE

Answers,

The gutter sealant was used as the foam land rover use to seal the top to the tub is crap.

I would recommend using some dynamat on the sides as well as the foam supplied with the mud panels.

Normally at 70 mph i have the radio on at vol 27 now its at 21 so a good deal quieter, I think most of the noise now is through the rear and side doors i will do these next.

Watch this space for the two major leaks i found today. Big Cry Original Member Pie n Pea Club.

I got mine off Ebay - The 9 sheet Extreme Bulk Kit should be available for around £130 - I was lucky enough to buy off a guy who had two kits and decided not to use them for a £100 each

If you do the floor and wheel arches you will have one sheet leftover from the bulk extreme pack. So someone needs to source a cheaper alternative that is the same spec. Original Member Pie n Pea Club.
