Under the cubby box is possible with some work but under the seat you've got no chance unless you mean in the actual seat box. (I wouldn't recommend it anyway)
No pictures I'm afraid from me as I have a different set up with mine. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |

The SVX has the sub under the cubby as standard fit from LR. Have a search on here as somone put some pics up a while back of the set up.

Hi,
I installed mine even under the cubby under box, depending on the size and shape of the sub, mine is round, it needs some work. It lifted the cubby box in a way that it is in the same height than the window sill, my ellbows rest in the same height now. Carefull to still have space for the gear lever. Unfortunately I am far away from my car to take some pics. BR Oskar |

Just like BM52, I fitted mine behind the cubby box.
It really does transform the audio system from awful to more than acceptable for less than £200! This pic is from my old 90XS, but I've got exactly the same in my new one (its that good!) I fitted mine under the cubby, raising the cubby about 3" to 4" in the process and levelling it. It is now a more comfortable height when driving. I also had to move it back a bit to clear the gear lever, but in doing so had to be careful not to lose the ability to tip the second row seats forward (mine is a 110 DC), something that wouldn't of course be an issue on a 90. It wouldn't have been possible to mount the sub on the rear of the cubby without losing this ability.

I don't suppose you have a picture of what it now looks like do you? Also how much clearance did you leave between the top of the sub and the bottom of the cubby? Thanks Darren |

No pics I am afraid, and it isn't easy to see with the seats in since the unit I made which sits under the cubby is slimmer than the seats. There's about 1" clearance between the top of the sub and he bottom of the cubby. I actually need to take it out again to cover the new bit in black vinyl to match the cubby, since I didn't have any when I made it. I'll see if I can get some pics when I do. From outside looking in through the window you really wouldn't know it was there. |

Matt - how have you got it mounted just inside of with the grille facing out the hole? Can't quite work out where you've put it. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Err carpet her boots.
No seriously tidy up with a stanley knife blade then I'd glue it down either that or buy some alu strip or something and make it a bit more fancy and rivet it on. With the size of that thing I still don't know why you didn't put it somewhere else Matt rather than chopping the seat box out. Must have had vandalism in mind. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |
