The carpet was all glued down last year but has come away due to the boot-rubbing
I made the cubby for hiding netbook/camera etc when travelling - very useful and impossible to see from outside. It actually looked quite tidy when new - the photos make it look sh*t (you would never realise it was there, even when you're inside Good idea about the riveting though - I riveted everything else so I was daft not to fix the frame the same way I already have black rivets, so it's a good mini project for the weekend Cheers Matt Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

I fitted mine behind the front passenger seat as the bulkhead allows for the space.

i have a Kicker TCVT8
fits nicely under the cubby inclined (its wedge shaped anyway) with opening to the front it makes your bass come from the front and not from the back. so keeps the sound image together. Not a hip hop dominant boom box but with the A class amp and bose speakers goes up to "unbearable" levels without distortion. very happy with it |

That looks much better Mattilda. Well done.
Honestly though it does. It would have got worse too the carpet over time and frayed more. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

Tatra - Mines 8" too but the square one instead and a bit more powerful so needs more space but yours as you mentioned will fit in more awkward areas. It can be difficult to get a happy medium between power and size. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

It's anodised aluminium profile (what do you call that in English?) but I could only get silver or brown (yeuch). Bought silver and painted it black - still, a wipe over with thinners and the paint stuck really well. In any case, the ridge effect will look good if/when the high points wear off Cheers Marge p.s. Doh - "Profile" is obviously called "trim" Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

Alu anodised trim yes. Ideally you want acid etch primer then the base then lacquer. but that costs plenty for a small job. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R
