Yes it can,
OK I could be accused of being biased but I like the way both front and rear winches are nicely tucked away. It has been set up so that even being winch equipped it has better approach and departure angle then many standard Defenders. Yes it is rather a heavy vehicle but it is still quite a capable vehicle. Yes I can see me having many more adventures with it. Brendan |

Hello Brendan
I also like the way your front winch is tucked away. Do you have any more details of the winch bumper and winch mounting? I was hoping to find a winch bumper solution like that, but that still allowed me to fit the soft A bar. |

Hi Inigo,
The winch is a Warn 9.5 XP (?) The bumper was from Devon 4x4 and was a high mount winch bumper with tampered ends. I have had a quick look on their site and can not see it. (it is late at night!) If you want one and if you can not find it on their site give them a ring on 01769 550900 Brendan |

Well Barbara and I are now down to two Land Rovers the 110 TdCi and 300 TDi. Plus Barbara has her Smart car otherwise known as the shopping trolley.
The Disco 2 has gone to a new home up in the North East, where the new owner plans to take it green laning. Was sorry to see it go however as it has done good work in the 6 years we have owned it. Question is what will replace it??? Brendan |

Now what makes you think I will have a say in the replacement?? Will it be a Rangie Evoque? An Overfinch? A D4? A Freelander? Or one of Pete' special?? Brendan |

Keep guessing
Our black 110 with improved rear door opening Click image to enlarge The Entreq bracket, please note I use one of the bolts to attach a lashing eye to. This is one of the attachment points for the fridge when it is in. Brendan Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |

Will this one do you?
Click image to enlarge It is an ARB winch mounting system. As long as a winch is fitted it is perfectly legal to be fitted to a modern Land Rover. Not too easy to find in the UK and they are a serious bit of kit. Cost about a grand. If still interested drop me a pm with your vehicle details and I will check current availability and price. Well the Red Disco 2 has left the Overlander fleet. It has gone to the North East and will be used for green laning with its new owner.
It did not take Barbara long to do a bit of retail therapy and this is the result! Click image to enlarge from the front No prizes for guessing where she found it! Click image to enlarge I have still not been allowed to sit in it yet. Wait until the fuel tank is empty! It is having some mods already done to it!
