I have a split on the intercooler to manifold hose. There is (apparently) and Autologic tune and a straight mid pipe otherwise it's standard. Do I replace with OEM or do I spend £120-160 on silicon. Or is it just a silly con? See what I did there...?

Sillycon does help, along with all the other little mods. But sillycon also will last a bit longer

Caribcat,
As you know I too have the Autologic tune and have often considered fitting silicone hoses. I am waiting until I have the spare dosh and intend combining them with a larger intercooler as well perhaps? It would be great if you did it first...... There the 'seed has been sown!' If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |
