Silicon hoses
I have a split on the intercooler to manifold hose. There is (apparently) and Autologic tune and a straight mid pipe otherwise it's standard. Do I replace with OEM or do I spend £120-160 on silicon. Or is it just a silly con? See what I did there...? Wink

Sillycon Laughing does help, along with all the other little mods. But sillycon also will last a bit longer Cool

Caribcat,

As you know I too have the Autologic tune and have often considered fitting silicone hoses. I am waiting until I have the spare dosh and intend combining them with a larger intercooler as well perhaps?
It would be great if you did it first...... Thumbs Up

Oooops you beat me to it. Razz

We need to catch up, also i need to pick your brains.

Standard hoses can delaminate causing problems. Any hose can cause problems if abraded.!
