Flip down side steps?
Has anyone got (or can they take some...) pictures of the underside of a LR showing where the side steps bolt onto the sill?

I think they go onto a couple of the bolts that hold the floor plate down, but mine don't line up that well.

cheers Thumbs Up

Hi the genuine land rover side steps don't bolt through the top floor plate bolts but bolt through the back of the sill channel.

HI all

Yeah, I had a browse through RAVE and found the install instructions, and see as DB950 says, they bolt through the back of the channel.

All I really need now is the distance from a reference point to the bolt holes (just so I can fit them in the factory position)

cheers Bow down

they do indeed bolt to the back channel of the sill, just fit em roughly in the middle of the door and see which holes they line up to.
i fitted mine last week and only took me 5 mins per step without looking it up Smile 2008 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold)

Cool. I did wonder if the sills were already pre-drilled. must crawl underneath and have a gander.
