Yes I will admit that the red 110 battery box is not the neatest, it has evolved over time. However it was not built as a show vehicle but as a overland vehicle and it has proved its worth in the field so to speak.
A quick word of caution, please note that different colours of Anderson connectors will not readily match with each other. Brendan |

The use of bus bars prevents the dead octopuses in the seat boxes.
On mine I have front and rear jump leads, blue sea fuse box then additional power running out to another Blue sea fuse box with all the earths also returning back to bus bars. Both batteries are also fused. Another word of warning on Andersons is they are coloured to denote application voltage with yellow being 12V, |

Where have you positioned your octupus-traps (busbars) Tim? Any chance of some piccies? I too plan to have Andersons mounted front rear and centre as my seats will not be OE and therefore the bases will not be removable. Matt Real trucks don't have spark plugs |

Good idea on the bus bars, but I would like some kind over cover over the top of the positive connectors just in case.. 1999 Defender TD5 110
