Makes you smile with the picture with all the lights on........well nearly all Whistle and his positioning of the indicators seems a bit questionable. I was under the impression that they do want to be placed towards the outer parts of the vehicle Whistle

Please note this set up is also fully road legal in UK and Europe. Has gone through two MOTs in the last 2 years all in order.

Honestly and objectively described and priced for quick clearout -

Since when has headlight surrounds been road legal or not?

Thought to be road legal it was the fact that the lights had to be E marked and switched correctly.

Priced for quick clearout etc. Why have they been relisted?

I'd guess because lamp position is also a factor. These surrounds have moved the indicators significantly inboard of the standard set-up. Not sure if that is technically legal or not but, as we all know, the MOT is not always the best judge of these things. Darren

No doubt in my mind that this is not road legal. As mentioned, I think that indicator is now too far from the outside edge of the vehicle (although I can't remember exactly what the limit is) but also I don't think that the indicator lens protrudes far enough forwards to be visible from the side of the vehicle (which is wht the old flat Lucas lenses in Series 1 dayes became illegal). Also there is the small matter of clutter between the indicator and the outside of the vehicle.

The MOT probably won't pick up on this since it is more aimed at checking the function not the position of the lights.

Apart from that, this is surely one of the most hideous modifications of all time. You also have to wonder about the mental state of someone who photographs the set-up for Ebay without caring that one light doesn't work!

Truly awful!
