Nothing wrong with E-bay mate especially when buying from high feedback business sellers. More issues with private sales ect though or can be at least. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

There are several options, depending on budget and taste:
Entreq, a site sponsor, sell powder coated stainless steel ones for, IIRC, about £120, although that might be plus postage. P A Blanchard sell ex-mil zinc passivated steel ones for around £65 inc. postage. Mostly via eBay although I'm sure they sell direct, too. Mudstuff sell a plastic one as already mentioned. There are probably others now too, but those three are probably the most accessible. A bit off topic but does anyone know if these effect the heaters at all? I heard that if you put a scoop version on that the heaters work better so I wondered if these stop or slow airflow to the heaters?

I was thinking of getting one of these if only to stop the puddle of water in the near side footwell when it rains hard.

I have the Entreq version installed. Effect on heater/ventilation system.... NO more airflow without turning on the fan, and this even at high speed. I find this not to be a problem, because most of the time for ventilation I will use the windows anyway, and in the winter when heating is necessary, I will use the fan plus the windows to finetune the required temp A definite advantage is that no more crud enters the system, so also no problem with blockage of the drainage teat due to crud getting in there. There is nothing to drain anymore anyway, as water also does not enter anymore.... I like this snow cover very much, if you need air cold or hot via the vents, put the fan on 1 Next week will have to temporary take the snow cover off and replace by the orginal roster as here in Switzerland a snow cover would make me fail the MOT which I have scheduled then. Yes, these snow covers are very dangerous and could kill pedestrians if I would hit them with that You never actually own a Defender. what they do is stop water getting into airbox for heater . Although these have ickle gromet type things to release the water, they also get blocked up with leaves. WHICH the cover also stops entering...SO.., when you turn on heater you don't get the spray / condensation on screen..........we have some in stock... Putting Dreams on Drives at JLR Solihull..

What's the difference between a snow cover and the bonnet both have the same outcome I'd have thought if someone got hit.... Perhaps we'll all need plastic bonnets or padding next. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |
