I guess the Swiss consider the new Defender bulge in the Puma bonnet to be done in order to have pedestrians slide over it without being hurt

Eric - He just needs a Killer sled then on the back and the Borat pic as a great big graphic on the bonnet.

LRA gave a good description.
Vent scoops do not stop rain water getting into heater vent and the so called ram effect on the heater is zero (imo) Snow cowls do not increase air intake however prevents water and muck ingress. If you want the best quality snow cowl (imo) Entreq ones is the best quality. If price is important go for the Mudstuff one. IF you have chequer plate fitted or a 'wrinkly' skin wing top you need either a gasket which Entreq do or need to use silicone to prevent water going between snow cowl and chequer plate. Brendan PS We can supply both ![]() |

Hi,
I've seen the new snow cover from Offroad Tec on Facebook. I think this will be a another supplier...stainless steel, powdercoated. But I don't know, when it is in his shop. Schnucki |

Ebay one looks OK and is plenty strong enough if they are all made to the same standard as the one demmonstrated on youtube. My only query would be why it appears that the lower edge of the intake has a chamfer towards the back edge? I think I'm right in saying that all the other makes have a square edge. |

I went for a plastic cover as it will bend / break if I catch a branch going down a narrow lane, but not do any other damage.
I thought that a metal cowl would bend / twist and possible damage the wing - they do look smarter though. There is a picture of mine on the Mud stuff site |
