dot 4 is right mate yeah. Have you reset the stop screw correctly and the push rod adjustment so that the rod runs straight through it's cycle.
140mm pedal to floor pedal height and 1.5mm clearence between pushrod and cylinder piston (approx 10mm at pedal). Last edited by paulgrs2 on 20th Oct 2012 7:58am. Edited 2 times in total |

does the car stop in a straight line? ie is there a resistance somewhere causing premature failure? Cheers

Is your clutch very heavy ? maybe if it is the master cylinder is having to work at pressures it was not designed to do. When i had a new clutch fitted to my old Turbo Diesel years ago the new clutch was much lighter.Just a thought. 2005 Td5 90 XS
