Some a-hole did just that last weekend. Pulled up on my drive to answer his phone. He was well put out too when I told him to 'cast off'.

Just wasted 300 quid on a "spa weekend" with the missus. What a rip off. The "luxury" room looked like it came from an MFI catalogue, pool was cold, massage therapist was ugly ( Whistle ) and the food was crap. I mean for pity's sake - what kind of salad bar consists entirely of pickled vegetables, including brussels sprouts Shocked

Didn't kick up a fuss as it's taken us years to finally get away and it would have upset her.

What p*ssed me off most is that I could have spent the cash on cruise control Crying or Very sad Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

The meeting was run by a bunch of contract IT project managers that couldn't organise their way off a plain sheet of paper.....

one commented the plan he put together had brought in the timelines - yeah. Until i pointed out he had gone from spec requirements straight to testing and had forgotten all about the build phase - ruddy muppet. Twisted Evil BM52

Management buzzwords Banging Head

I'm sure a load of 'managers' just use them to hide the fact that they don't have a clue what they're on about.

"Low hanging fruit" is my pet hate Rolling Eyes
It means making us do all the easy tasks short term resulting in unrealistic targets... then keeping those targets long term for all the sh*t left over Evil or Very Mad

You've probably heard this joke before, but anyway:

One day a shepherd is tending his flock when a flashy BMW pulls up. Out jumps a slimy looking bloke wearing dark glasses, an Armani suit and shiny shoes.
Grinning, he says to the farmer "If I can tell you how many sheep you've got, can I have one?"
The shepherd, slightly puzzled, agrees. So the stranger whips out an expensive laptop and proudly shows the shepherd a satellite image of the surrounding hills, superimposed with infra red images of every living thing, statistical tables of farming in the area, average flock sizes, grass nutritional values and loads of other sh*t.
Eventually he turns to the shepherd, beaming, and says "you have 517 sheep, of which 496 are white, 21 are black and 450 are ewes. The shepherd admits that he is correct and lets him grab an animal and put it in the boot of his car.

Then the shepherd turns to the suit and asks "If I can tell you your profession, can I have it back?"
The guy agrees and quick as a flash, the shepherd says "You're a manager"
The manager is amazed and asks how he knows.
"Well" says the shepherd "you turned up unwanted and told me something I already knew, even though you know b*gger all about my job - now give me my f*cking dog back!" Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Rear fog lights - in a bit of mist you do not need to put them on especially if you can overtake me when I am already doing 75mph on the motorway
