Washer motor upgrade?
I've fitted the twin washer nozzles to my 110 (Td5), it's great for getting more water onto the screen.

However, at anything over walking pace, there isn't enough pressure from the pump to really blast the screen, compared to modern vehicles with a similar nozzle setup.

Does anyone know of a replacement pump that will clip straight into the Td5 washer bottle, that will give better results?

Or can an external pump be fitted with the "suck" pipe fitting into the hole where the original pump would have sat?

Do you have a rear wash wipe? If your 110 is a DC then you could have one motor for each side of the screen!

Nah, station wagon so the rear pump is in use.

I've been thinking along the same lines i.e. additional washer nozzle and more powerful washer pump. I also considered using different washer nozzles with a spray/ mist / fan shaped pattern for greater washing efficiency but drew a blank on that. I am told that a better pump can be probably be fitted but haven't got any further on that yet. I believe that a headlamp washer pump might be more powerful - the risk is, of course, that if it's too powerful it blows the system apart at some joint along the route from reservoir to nozzle.

Do you have any pictures of your twin nozzle set up?

Possibly but it would mean cutting holes in the bonnet so you would want to be damn sure that it was going to work first.

But at least you'd be able to recognise your bonnet when it turns up on ebay!
