Becouse it will take a bit longer to get a new DPF the problem is sovled temporary.
First we cleaned the DPF with the Liqui Moly System.
Afterwards it was still not possible to start an regenerration
Then we progammed the control unit with the tester to "new DPF", then it was possible to start the regeneration.

In the moment it's running.
I think it was no real problem with an full DPF, it was an problem with the software of the control unit.

I forgot: We contolled the DPF with an flexible endoscope bevore cleaning, there was not really much carbon inside, the surface of the filter was absolutely clean, usually there is an heavy film of carbon on it when the filter is overloadet.

I'm having this problem too...
The good thing is that there is a technical information that indicates that this is a problem in the original ECU software.
As correction, there is a new software to be downloaded to our cars.
I'll try to make it during this week, I hope that it will work.

Removing the DPF isn't a major problem - as you can use Eu3 sofware.

But the standad ECU calibrations are far from ideal!!

Actually, I have some news about this problem.

The problem was ( what they tell me) that the engine oil was to much contaminated. Because of that, the car's software didn't allowed to make the ECU regeneration cycle. I'm not sure if they upload something in the ECU or not...

Solution: Oil change with 16000 km and till now, problem solved.

P.S.: In 6/11/2012 I will make the 20000km maintenence and LR will replace my turbo in order to solve the famous problem of the loose hose. They will kill an ent with a missile. Very Happy
