Nice, but if its been fitted with those alloys which arent even strong enough for a 110 then what other bits are wrong?

Don't think it looks right....

Rear window isn't in the center of the pannel, side steps look weird only being on the front 2/3rds, skinny spare on the bonnet.

Another thing..... Winch?.... really!

If it was cheaper it would be a good project to turn into something nice,

THey are standard fit on TD5 90s.

The weight rating of those wheels are 850Kg..... the rear loaded weight of a 110 is 1750Kg so if on the flat ground you will still be over its max working weight limit never mind if you have to go off road and put more weight on one wheel.

So.... with that in mind, empty there is probably about 1 ton on the rear axle, add the passengers (say 8 in the back) at say 80Kg each 650Kg, and then personal kit at say 200Kg.... that is a rear axle weight of 1850Kg- I would say that is an accident waiting to happen!!

If they are Genuine Land Rover Tornado/Freestyle alloys then they were standard fit on 90s only, and they are not weight rated for a 110 or 130.

However, they could be the aftermarket Firestyle alloys which are weight rated for 110 and fit on drum braked rear axles, which could well be the case here as it was an MOD Rapier vehicle which (I think) were originally carb 3.5 V8 and pre-dated disk rears.

Either way, I wouldn't fancy them on a 130.

But then I think it's fairly hideous anyway. Fully Restored 89 110 CSW V8

CLS 350 CDI for the sensible stuff

Gak.

A normal 130 is a droolsome object. That one looks like someone's DT homework.

I love forums, after a conversation yesterday regarding wheels for my Sankey based camping trailer on PM I have been hunting for a max weight figure for Freestyles and without asking it appears!

Trailer MAM will be 1100kg so the axle weight will be erm.. 1100Kg which will give me a 600kg margin of safety to pay with.

Bow down Bow down
