Ah, so what's the box-like shape on the roof for? I'm guessing the whole thing is intended to be an off-road caravan rather than just a clever storage box? Thanks for the pointer on the M/C pot, by the way. Spoke to a very helpful guy at Power Track, who knew exactly what I wanted. A new one is heading my way for £27 plus postage. I've also ordered a new damper from Drop Zone as my existing one doesn't, and a canvas cover from eBay along with a parts book and operating manual. In fact, the opportunities to buy spare parts and extras for it make it just like owning another Land Rover Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? Late reply... Is it not because halfway between the studs would be the place that would see the most deflection? By putting them next to the existing studs you minimise deflection and therefore potential wheel wobble. |
