I've been on the hunt for the next annoying rattle for weeks and tracked it down to this (see pic) that was lying loose in the battery box. Anyone know what it is? Presumably a battery retaining bracket that is not needed in mine, my battery is well secured by two clamps at the base of the battery.

Really, is that something that comes as standard? As its got somes holes drilled in it I presumed it was some sort of retaining bracket. Been annoying me for ages! 90 XS Volvo V70 |

Think it is standard, I got one too with my XS. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Hi Tjhappel Just noticed you have a 2010 Puma. Given the American laws on airbags how did you manage to get one over there ? I didn't think it was possible to import anything newer than 1994 (I think its that year) ? |
