Drove back from Denmark after a lovely weekend away. Nearly ran out of fuel, proper coughing and spluttering but made it to the shell garage, but bloody hell it supped some juice

I took all my fleet to a local classic car show as it was dead local and in a good cause H4H, I know the Puma is neither old or a classic yet but i was trying to show 60 Yrs difference 1952 - 2012 and the Bowler pulled the people over loads of interest. Only one other Land Rover there a Series 1 88 in war office livery and an Austin Gypsy in simalar livery.

As I seem to have ended up with a bit of a black on grey theme on my 110, I thought I'd add one of these:

Just towed the tin tent back from the Midland Game Fair, bowled along nicely
Saw one of the new xtech 90's on the Strathstone stand, had to keep clear as I ended up buying the 110 after seeing one there last year! Sold a bit of kit and didn't buy anything this year as I have enough coats apparently. Mrsh came back with a dog coat, cheese, notebooks, hand bag (very short of those apparently) and some Christmas decs ! Hefted the new Daystate 100ftlb .303 airgun which I think I'll be adding to the collection soon Also organised a swap of a night vision setup for some stock so not a bad result. Good weekend away, saw lots of other landrovers around the place ,as well as the usual shorty tweed skirts and leather boots. Well Saturday my sister got married and I was asked if they could use my landy as the wedding car. It got a very thorough clean.
Click image to enlarge I was very proud The wedding photographer also went out and took some photos f the car while we were waiting so hopefully I should have some very nice photos of it clean! |

Very nice - love the roof
I drove to Regensburg and picked up 100 pounds of apples to make scrumpy for Guy Fawkes. Should get a fair few gallons out of that Not sure the International School will be open on November 6th though Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

New windscreen required after a stone/bolt flicked up on the autobahn. What a noise, nearly required new trousers but the laminated screen did its job - 150euro excess on the insurance though

Did a big old shop at the country store and trailered it back for the barn conversion to continue (into a garage...not a house) and then booked her in for a Dinitrol session with JR Classics. The Waxoyl treatment ROgers of Bedford whacked on when I bought it used from them is OK but it needs better....and I frankly don't have the patience or time for a DIY job at the moment with the house move and garage build....all good fun. She's not old...just older
