I've been having issues with water in my ecu, land rover told me that it was water proof until i got water in it then they said it was seal'd , i mean who would put the ecu there , well its my fault that water is getting in there they say, so once the warrenty runs out i'm going to move it, now i know that the td5 has had this done by pleanty of people but i can't find one for the puma, any help with this would be much appreciated.

I don't know of anyone that's moved the Puma ECU. It should be straightforward (although you have to get the loom through the bulkhead).
I think you may be blazing a trail there! One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS + New Defender 110 First Edition |

I have also been looking into this, but as of yet no luck
Just out of interest, has anyone else had any problems with water getting into the ECU? Rob 130 HCPU 2.4TDCi 110 300TDi |

If you do go custom, these guys might be able to help http://www.autosparks.co.uk/. Recently used them to knock up a loom for an old Elan.
They do some work for Td5 customers but I don't think they've tackled the Puma yet. I was chatting to them about it at Billing and they were anticipating people wanting to do this at some point. One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS + New Defender 110 First Edition |

ask land rover and they will say its water proof, then when it fills up they will say its seald and you must of gone over the wadeing limit, never mind that the ECU will get a good soaking when your jet washing the front of the car wash your bonnet/wing top and the engine gets soak'd, not a problem you would think for a defender?
