What auto box is it using? if it is the old 4 speed disco box seems a bit on the spendy side

someone needs to put some effort in to making a 6speed auto box fit a defender and not keep fafing around with 4 speed boxes that are like 20yrs old

Whilst that would be nice my 4speed is fine behind the td5. For my use it's ideal!

Puma Auto Console
Hi folks. I know this was discussed ears ago, but I am converting my Puma to an M57 auto and am looking for a nicer centre console. Does anyone have a link to where I can source the same as the picture (which is from a post in here from 2012 from Mark Hope Confused ) I would really appreciate any feedback as to where I could source the same or similar? 2014 Defender 110 Puma Station Wagon

It does say a couple of posts down from the initial post that Berkshire Land Rover were making them. Have you tried contacting them ?

Yes, but sadly they seem to have gone belly-up under suspicious circumstances.. 2014 Defender 110 Puma Station Wagon

Some people have used a disco 3 & 4 centre console adapted to suit. Personally I don't like the fancy look so went for the more utilitarian Ashcroft centre console when i put my M57 and auto in.
If you join the M57 Land Rovers group on Facebook and use the search at the top of the page it will bring up heaps of centre console ideas.

Its the console from an early Range Rover L322, you can get them on ebay every now and then.

I have the later L322 in mine (on occasion)...

Td6 l322 range rover, so pre tdv8 era for that console.

Quite a.bit of wasted space.

Ashcroft console works well like Mos, or try mwmachines he has a nice option. Cheers
