2010 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Stornoway Grey
I am having 265x75xR16 Cooper STT fitted to my Zu Rims tomorrow.

The truck is getting serviced today and I was going to get the dealer to reset the ECU to reflect the new tyre size. However, they have advised me that the ECU only allows the following tyre options:

2240mm - 205R16 tyre size

2458mm - 235/85R16 tyre size

2483mm - 7.60R16 tyre size

Anyone got any advice? Proud owner 110 Utility XS

265/75's are, near as makes no difference, the same as 235/85's. Darren

My 285/75 R16s make my speedo exactly read true road speed according to my sat-nav

Not sure what the ECU setting is but the truck was purchased with standard Utility steel wheel with 7.5 R16 tyres

PS - would an ECU change for tyre size mean any re-map would need to be reloaded

No.... changing this will not affect the remap... changes are make in the IPK (instrument pack) not to the engine ECU.
