Switzerland 2009 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SVX Station Wagon Santorini Black
SVX style rear turn signals from Mobilecentre - now fitted
Placed the order with Tim from Mobilecentre a few weeks ago and package arrived within 2 days. Two clear LED turnsignals (to replace the standard SVX versions which still remained incandescent bulb fitted), 6 gaskets so that I could also install the gaskets on the standard SVX LED rear/stop lights, rear fog light and reverse light. Land Rover does not bother fitting these gaskets in the factory, it is not a real necessity, but a nice little upgrade, further a new flasher relay to replace the original which is necessary to avoid the flashing frequency to increase due to the LED's having much lower wattage, and 12 stainless steel screws to replace all the original ones. In hindsight must admit that it seems that the OEM ones on my SVX were stainless steel after all, contrary to what was said here on the forum.
The entire replacement was fully plug and play, and a good occasion to get all rear lights off, cleaned behind, extra Dinitrolled, all electrical contacts WD-40'd, etc.
The result is perfect, the indicators now when not on have exactly the same appearance as the brake/rear position light, and when the turn signal is on, the LED pattern is an exact match with those brake/rear position lights, and last but not least, the indicator flashes are stronger and with the known crisp on/off typical for LED's.
Nice upgrade, and very good service from TIM Thumbs Up

You can put the indicator in the standard LR position now...

Land Rover only moved the indicator into the inner positions for aesthetics - i.e because the incandescent lamps didn't match the other LED's.
