Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

I'm in France at present and have been waved to by several Defenders, very friendly people.
It's the teenagers in the little Pugs and Citroens that are the menace at times, the whizz in and out of the traffic like mamiacs, BM52 |

I live a couple of miles away from Ripley. Had forgotten about the show - have been before showing off our 5.7 LS1 100" but not for a couple of years. Might pop down with my 90 this time ! If so, do pop by! Our blog - http://landytravels.com/ Yorkshire Off Road Club - http://www.yorkshireoffroadclub.net |

I'm the same. I never touch the inside of the screen for that exact reason. It really annoys me when you drive someone elses car where they've been rubbing the screen with the back of their hand. When it gets damp it's like trying to drive peering through wallpaper paste.
I had a car once where the previous owner had done that a lot and worn a diamond ring, leaving lots of micro scratches in the glass making it even worse. Pete |

Right then !! This has been quite a grumpy topic for us in the construction world this week, On a building site or any where in fact if you have done your risk assesments properly and "Health and Saftey" have put their bloody oar in, you are not allowed to stand on the back of a lorry with out fall restraint or hand rails !! How come in front of 26million people can a boy band perform on a moving artic at the closing cerimony of the Olympics ???
Our haulier has spent thousands fitting uprights and rails to his trailers, we have got huge platforms in our yard that we have to roll next to trailers so people cant fall off, its all getting very silly, and you then see on telly people performing pop songs on moving artics. Good show thou !!! (Spice girls ruined it for me) the rest was good, "Allways look on the bright side of life" Ill say no more If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.
