An idle thought re: windscreen washers
I know that there have been several posts on different ways to improve the performance of Defender windscreen washers...

However, I was wondering if anyone had gone the whole hog and abandoned the Defender washer jet all together and fitted something like Range Rover bonnet mounted spray/mist pattern pair of washers (and maybe even a different washer reservoir and pump). I have had spray/mist pattern washer jets on other cars and they are way more effective than a straight jet of water.

A decent set of wiper blades can make up for shortfalls in the wash/wipe system. Too much effort for me as I live in Bournemouth....The sun always shines down here!

+1

Have wasted far too much time 'adjusting' the washer jet to get it working half-way right; bought a decent set of wipers- job done.
