Absolute arseholes who don't change their speed or driving style on roads that are being resurfaced...
If anyone knows it, the A59 into Preston just off the M6 is being resurfaced, at the moment there's loose chippings and stones everywhere. Going up the hill there's two lanes, I was in the first lane, and I backed off to about 25-30ish, but cars were still coming flying up in the outside lane, then cutting right infront of me flinging stones up all over Big Black. I'm sure I've picked up a few new stone chips now! Same coming down, cars flying up pinging stones into the cars coming down. Had to put the window up for fear of being stoned to death! And I never understand why people were driving so close behind! Surely they can hear and even see the stones being flung back up all over the front of their car! Luckily I'm only over there one more day this week, hopefully it'll be resurfaced by the time I next need to go over. |

Olympic opening ceromony.
Why, oh why are the official announcements in French BEFORE the ENGLISH announcements? Have the organisers forgotten that London is in the UK and our official language is ENGLISH English is spoken by more people in the world then French! Brendan |

Bear in mind I went to an all boys school where girls could only join in the sixth form. We played mixed hockey and the girls were infinitely more violent than the boys, making the whole experience erotic beyond comprehension
