From a 90 to a 110 to a 200?
Once everything was settled with the insurance and dealership the 110 was written off. And after shopping round for a replacement settled for a land cruiser for the time being. until I have the time and money to build up a 90 on a galv chassis hd diffs and gearbox and a v8 (or also interested in how the 3.2 conversion by BAS turns out). Keep it for offroading even though if I have any defender it will always be my daily drive Laughing

For now Neutral I have this

Twisted Evil Time to start modding, might as well make some improvements to it.

In the Middle East, if you have a LC, then you have made it in life.

One of the biggest status symbols you can buy.........yes, I was shocked when I discovered that too. Even Range Rovers are not as high up the status symbol list. Craig Rogers

Many years ago we had LC at work. It was a 1998/9 model. We had it from new, serviced it every twenty thousand miles (sometime more miles between). It got stolen right in front of me when I was opening the warehouse doors in our (as it turned out not so) secure complex. Car smashes through the gate barrier, hand break turns and scum bag jumps out and nick me Toyota! Anyway that another story but this LC did 246 thousand miles with no mechanical failures apart from two clutch which was our fault as we would drag machines out of factories with it sometimes. Just breaks and service items nothing else. Great work tool and is sadly missed. Now I have driven and owned land rovers all my adult life and would not own anything else but I do have a lot of respect for the LC.

Toyota's do well over here, readily available spare parts, cheap servicing and they hold their value well.

Regarding that it comes with a 5yr/unlimited milage warranty Shocked the dealers are that confident about them.

I ditched the alloys for steels and fitted wheel arches and awning to it already, going to put a rear wheel carrier and probably lift it in the future.

Due to the loons that own land cruisers and nissan patrols the police are biased to pull you over and inspect the engine Rolling with laughter

They tune up standard engines up to 1000hp and they fit all kinds of engines. i think they mostly use chevy/LS1 engines 2012 Fuji White 110 Flattened

Hopefully to make it last forever, All cities over here are on the coast, and the dusty conditions require very frequent washing of cars 2012 Fuji White 110 Flattened

You can't compare the two. Really that 200 is a utility Range Rover.

Thing I like about the Land Cruisers is the engines. Always big and getting bigger - Unlike the Defender.
