I am finally beginning to feel comfortable with this concept after 18 years away from Blighty Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

Glad you like our service Bodsy
Rocco, IF we give discount it depends on many factors, varying from value of order, items ordered, payment method, (yes credit cards cost us about 2.5%) and attitude of customer. We have had customers wanting a 30% discount on orders worth less then £20. The second letter is O. A polite two letter word being the opposite of yes, Dependent on order we may well not give discount but throw in a few 'freebies' which retail value is more then any cash discount we would give. Approach us with the wrong attitude and you might not been able to purchase from us. YES, once we refused to sell an item to a person who was being a real PITA, angling for a discount on an item and value on what we were not prepared to give a discount on. Supermarket loyalty cards = discount? Or equals a advertising method where they know which customer to target with which offer? So is in fact a money making scheme for the supermarkets??? Brendan |

I was astounded by the number of loyalty cards I was offered/asked for when I visited the UK recently - WTF is all that about? Just sell me my shopping at a reasonable price and don't try to get all my personal details and push me towards buying other stuff at your favoured "participating companies". Why do I have to be "loyal" to a supermarket?
p.s. I can state first-hand that Brendan, Entreq and Nakatanenga have been very helpful on the discount front thanks to my Defender2 membership (one for each of you ) Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

I bought a Jet tent recently from Brendan, I didn't ask or expect a discount but I got an excellent deal both on price and in extras like extra guide ropes and various pegs. Thoroughly reccomended .
Tim at Mobile centre gave a good discount too. |
