another option would be a self adhesive clothes hook mounted upside down and a rubber band between that and the high level handel (you know the handle you hold onto when it gets a bit bouncy or for hanging clothes from).

you could then have a 'quick window' - do away with the window mechanism so when you remove the rubber band the quickly drops open and when you wanna shut it, just pull it up and hook it onto the handle

You can tuck the knot inside the door handle and it stays there, unseen. Passengers can easily unhook it at the winder.

I'm going to see if the dealer will tighten them under warranty but I think I will leave the cord there as an additional "security measure" Wink

Haven't decided whether to fit electrics yet as the windows are opened so rarely... at least not intentionally Laughing

p.s. nice idea Caterham - better make sure the hook is stuck on well though, or couldn't the window get "lost"?

On my way to Sheffield I past a fairly only def / series (sorry not too sure which) and I have to smile cause they use a lenth of what lookcs like 2x2 to prop up the front windows Very Happy
