Droopy windows
Next:

Does anyone have a DIY fix for the passenger row windows dropping down as soon as anyone/anything (even a light breeze) goes near the winders?

... and yes, I've already thought of asking the passengers to hold them up Rolling Eyes

Well, my solution to this problem was to put a loop of bungee cord round the door handle and loop it over the knob of the winder. It was necessary to adjust the position of the winder so that the knob is optimally placed, but it has worked well for me.

One day I will see about fitting an electric lift to the windows.

It amuses (?) me that on a modern £30k vehicle it is necessary to use a bungee cord to hold the windows shut, but, hey, that's why we love Landrovers!

Unfortunately this trick didn't stop mine from self opening (just slowed them) hence the bungees.

Take the window guides out and pinch them tighter with a pair of mole grips job done. If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.
