I think B is probably the better route - the problem with a smart repair (they went that route) the roof needs almost a complete respray due to the location and complexity. Mike

Not sure if just 110", but usually I`ve seen many with a crack in the paint where the seal goes across and the roof dips towards the front. Mine was done long time ago and it showed up again.
I“ll ask again to repair it. Puma 110" SW ............................................................. Earth first. Other planets later |

Had the same problem. Dealer noticed it before delivery, told me about it. They showed me the problem and I could see it before repairing. It was just a bad assembly... By the time of delivery it was already fixed. Roof was disassembled, new fixing kit (glue) and a full roof respray. |

Humm,
Looks like a common problem , mine develop time ago the same crack that MK had and was repaired under guarantee. Now I have a nice paint blow in the rear part of the roof. So, Im waiting the 70.000 km check to repair it under guarantee. By the way, I make a spreadsheet with all the guarantee faults that I had. Until now... 43 problems, spanning from missing bolts to a clutch change. While i have been/am away the 90 has had its own little holiday!
Went to the dealer i like to do its service and some minor warranty work and the roof. Who informed me they couldnt repair the roof as the other dealer had billed land rover over £1k in roof repair warranty...after a mad day before a few minor life events and holiday LR customer service took over to get it repaired but it looked like it HAS to go to the 1st warranty dealer who initally repaired it to maintain any future defects. (in the first instance) So at the moment i have no idea where it is or what state its in! Mike |

Over a week with the original dealer - they havent fixed it...actually causing more damage, when i took it to my dealer of choice, the second dealer, they noticed now a dent that wasnt there when they inspected it (its only been to the first dealer straight from them!)
They are now thinking it needs a complete new roof, resprayed and fitted see who Dealer 1 or Land Rover want to look after that. In fairness Land Rover are being good so far...but the measure will be in the result! Mike |
