Sealing between tub and hardtop

Sealed between the two today knowing the foam gasket would be dry. Pleased with the result. Used an MS Polymer sealant.

That's a really nice job.

Any tips for getting such a good finish? I did mine earlier in the year but ended up with a bit of a mess that needs cleaning up and re-doing.

Mask up with tape between the two. Cut the nozzle to the same width as the gap and gun in the sealant. Wet your finger and the sealant with soap solution and run your finger along the sealant. Rmove the tape. Job done.

Did look at that whilst I had the gun out - may tackle that one later.

Great Defender decal on the side panel Wink

Looks a neat job Thumbs Up I sprayed mine with 'Wurth Corrosion Protection Spray'. You spray along the foam and just wipe off the excess from the panels - job done Very Happy It leaves a clear water resistant film over the foam Thumbs Up Good for other areas also!

The question now is what to do with the foam area around the sill's. Question
