Winch wire stopper
Is there such thing as a rubber to nylon block I can put over the winch wire to stop the winch hook and thimble from going through the fairlead? Preferably something I can retro fit without having to remove all the wire? 1999 Defender TD5 110

Yes there is! Well sort of! Razz

Use an old rubber suspension mount/bush.

Does the trick Thumbs Up

Easier to thread it on. Have never tried slitting the bush lengthwise and forcing it on to winch rope, but might be worth a go.
