2012 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 SW Orkney Grey
where is a second battery usually placed?
Is the space under the seat sufficient for 2 batteries? if not, where?

Looking to install a ctek step charger cum solar setup.

You can fit 2 batteries under the seat in the battery box, dependant on size of course.
Bpman has 2 pc1500's and I think Leeds as to pc1750's but Leeds has had to modify his seat box to fit them Thumbs Up Russell

On black 110 two Odyssey 1500 fitted, no problem. Depending on your split charge system think carefully where you position things. We have the relay mounted upside down so it is easier to get to terminals.

On red 110 two Odyssey 1700 fitted. ONLY modification was to battery tray not seat box. Side of battery tray removed to allow longer 1700s to sit on it.

that is cool. i have yet to acquire the 110sw, time frame is jan2013, which is the only time the registration of a defender is humanly taxed in singapore.

i will have dual batt link up, my existing ctek d250, pull a wire back tomthe rear to power an arb 47l fridge. And a solar panel to keel the fridge running 24hrs...

you'll only need your panel if you intend not to drive for a good few days. miy second battery and waeco fridge will last 5 days before flattening the battery (it's a 120ah)
