Hi Dave
have a read of this - I think the general opinion is do not go plug and play, get a proper remap http://defender2.net/forum/topic13641.html Bob 2015 Jaguar XE240 R Sport - goes like ....... !! 2013 Defender 90 CSW - sold 2009 Defender 110 Double Cab - sold 2001 TD5 90 CSW - offroad project - sold to a forum member 2011 Porsche Boxster - for the sunny days ! |

Although bare in mind that remaps aren't yet available for the 2.2 as the securty hasn't been cracked yet. Darren

Hi Bob
Ta for the comment, I just had a quick read and aye, the re-map looks the best option. The only thing I worry about is the warranty, with it only being a couple of months old I feel quite confident HAVING 34 months remaining as I drive around! I would hate to lose that for the sake of a bit of extra grunt hence the plug and paly option... Of course I could just get on with it as the motor seems pretty well sorted despite the Euro chokes that have been enforced on it by the 'Erberts in Parliament! Cheers for your time Bob Dave Landy Mad Defender 90 XS Puma 2.2TDci Defender 90 300TDI pick up |

My understanding when I asked my dealer when I got my 110 is that any kind of remap or engine mods would invalidate the warranty.
