how do you make a 300tdi go faster ... some say you can adjust the fuel or turbo ...

theres a screw on the pump, give it a tweak Wink but not too much or you'll do same as i did and blow the head gasket Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

so easy to do and mine smoked a bit but made a big difference (should say this was 200 tdi but guess its the same) My MOT man showed me when he tweaked it down so it wasn't as smoky lol 2015 110 USW XS in Santorini with premium contrast leather seats in tan/black, black headlining and with Dual Finish alloys (in the garage, now on Wolf rims with Goodyear MT/Rs)

2012 '62' 2.2 X-Tech 110 USW now gone ...
1984 90 soft top with full roll cage, 200 tdi engine etc now sold
2012 USW XS 2.2 "FUU" now gone....

run some injector cleaner, check cam timing is spot on, bin the egr, bin the cat convertor, fit a bigger intercooler, wind the boost up abit to 18psi (ish) and then Censored about with the pump settings as above link. Th

I have a 300 TDi Auto Disco, albeit just brought a defender puma so it's going to go after being my stalwart for 11yrs.

I fitted a full width alisport intercooler, fuel pump tweak, k&n air filter, egr bypass kit, silicon hoses, fan removed. I can quite happily say it goes rather well now!! Darren

I have a friend who has a 300tdi, VTN turbo, large intercooler, tweaked pump and turner performance head. It does on avarage 4mpg more than mine and if faster even with the tune in mine. Shocked Shocked

I drove a 130 300 the other day fitted with a VTN that belonged to a chap who converts and fits them and it was really nice to drive and had loads of pull.

I would love to have the balls to tweek my 300tdi but I'm too worried about reliability and at the moment mine is reliable
I'm going to EGR delete, Straight threw pipe with a TD5 rear box as I've been told after that it should go abit better and sound abit better but thats as far as I dare go.
