They never get it right - how hard can it be
When you ring for insurance they put it down as a TDi |

Mine’s wrong too (XS 110 Station Wagon is listed in V5 as “DEFENDER 110 XS TD D/C; LIGHT 4X4 UTILITY; LIGHT GOODS VEHICLE; N1”)
Any real point in getting it altered? In a few years when I sell it the Dealer’s invoice clearly says 110 Station Wagon… Peter |

Hi Birdy,
The way I thought about it was that if I was going to buy my 110 Station Wagon second hand and the V5 stated that it was a Double Cab (as it did) then I would not proceed until it had been changed. Alarm bells would be ringing in my head. OK, so we both have ours from new so we have the original purchase invoice (which is correct) but the official document from the DVLA says otherwise. |

The official document would be what it says on manufacturers paperwork, Dvla are just an incompetent department, does not bother me having a 2012 2.2 ltd td5 , common sense will show what it is, funny enough the insurance documents say td5 as well.
